As a new school year gets underway, the Board would like to welcome back all members of the school community and wish them a happy and productive year. Welcome back to all teachers and staff and a special welcome to Sarah Magan, who takes up a permanent role and to Sinead McCarrick on her return from a career break and her recent marriage. Welcome also to Jacqui Hanley who will work with us this year.
We look forward to working with the Parents’ Association – their contribution makes a huge difference to the whole school community and we hope that they have many new members this year. The Parents’ Association is open to all parents and they welcome new members at any time. Please come along to their next meeting to hear about the great work that they do.
Welcome to our new Board Member and Parents’ Representative, Rachel McKenna. Her acceptance of the role is much appreciated.
We hope that our former 6th class are getting on well in their new schools and a big welcome to our 14 new Junior Infants.
We have updated our Child Safeguarding Statement and Risk Assessment in line with the new Child Protection Procedures 2025. This document is available to view on our website, clondrans.com (Parent Information page) and inside the front door of our school.
Our annual Harvest Mass will take place on Thursday next, 01 October.
Date for First Communion is 08 May 2027.
